I know I know I know...its been over a month now since I have last written to you guys...SORRY!!!!! A lot has been going on in my life personally so it was hard for me to manage everything. "New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems…" was the last twitter stat that Adam Goldestin better known as, DJ Am last posted on Tuesday August 25th. He was found dead yesterday in his apartment, the cause is still unknown and under investigation. I gotta say its crazy because we all remember the plane crash that he and friend Travis Barker survived the plane crash in South Carolina while 4 other passengers were killed. DJ Am died at the age of 36.

I found this little experiment while checking out this website my friend was telling me about with all these new inventions, ideas, and just theories. Here is one that I had to post called the Humanthesizer.

Humanthesizer, a joint creation between electronic musician Calvin Harris, Sony Music UK, and Bare conductive body ink, which turned 15 bikini-clad ladies into a giant human synthesizer capable of playing Harris's latest single, Ready For The Weekend. The performers stand on the pads, and touch each other on the hands or body to complete a circuit and trigger a sound. Harris, his hands painted with the ink, played the main keyboard line and effects by interacting with a row of eight girls. The rhythmic portions of the track were played by seven dancers performing a carefully choreographed routine. Watch the video below.

So Ive been checking out a few different sneakers that I have been feeling as usual. And I am just going to make one giant post with them all.

Sister of Mark Ronson, Samantha Ronson, has come out with a collab to the much loved supra for these exclusive edition black and gold kicks. ::Thumbs up::

As many of you might know, sergio rossi and puma came out with a collection last season. These kicks were a remake of the classic puma clyde however they were made in a satin material for the women. Take a look at some of the new colors he has incorporated this season round in the video called "A Tennis Affair"

These Pierre Hardy Leather Hi Top are the new AW '09 line big hit. Trey Songz will be seen wearing the all black patent leather version in Drake's "Successful" video. These run for about a quick $900.

These Black and White canvas and leather kicks accented with a striped lining is brought to you from both Vespa and Adidas. This is an easy compromise for the quick Italian driver and the cool laid back new yorker. You can find these at the Adidas retailers for $120.

These kicks come from a collab with Admiral Team and Tass Standard. These quilted leather, suede, and strip of patent leather can run you a quick $130. This should definitely be something interesting to see, from their knit wear to their Star Wars (R2D2) inspired heels. What will they bring for the everyday consumer? I know yesterday I was hanging out with my friend when I got the text message from about 5 people at the same time saying that Michael Jackson was dead, and me being the person I am didn't believe it. I thought i was another mass text message that would turn out to be false. My friend kept saying, If its not on CNN, i don't believe it. And I had to agree with her. And it wasn't until my sister had confirmed it for me I still didn't believe it. Its so surreal.

Michael Jackson (1958 - 2009) died at the age of 50. He was an icon in both the music, fashion, and art world. He was definitely an icon in my time. He brought something to every ones life, from the Jackson 5 to Michael Jackson doing it on his own. He is a legend and will never be forgotten. Here are a few videos in his memory. The other night my homegirl VC invited me to come out with her to the Hiro for Jeremy Asgar's Bday Party. It was definitely the 'cool kids' type of scene but it was fun none the less. Finally got to see the amazing Jasmine Solano perform.

Along with those tidbits you should know about the many movies that has come out about her. Lifetime Channel did one not too long ago, which is being sold on itunes. Now we finally have the pleasure of seeing a real production of C Gabrielle Chanel's life story with the movie "Coco Avant Chanel" (translated Coco before Chanel). The movie is starring French Actress Audrey Tatou. The movie has been released overseas, however we will finally be blessed come September 25. As some of you may know, there is a lot going on right now, especially during this economic times. I have been going through a lot mentally, thinking about where my future is headed with this clothing line I am going to drop next summer, the job that I am currently at and the classes I am taking. I have been doing a lot of reading lately on fashion and whats going to be expected of me as I get further into my career. As I look into this whole ordeal of fashion, and what people are doing, what they are illustrating, some of it is some of the greatest thing I have ever seen, and some...not so much. I know its the same every generation. But I feel like some people are losing the idea of fashion, and everyone is trying to be a "fashionista" or "fashionisto". Well I am here to say, I don't want to be fashionista, that word no longer means anything. Everyone is fashionista by showing who they are just through their clothes. More than half of those people who call themselves that are usually Label Whores, and I have nothing against that, do whatever works for you. But that doesn't mean you are above the next person who is rocking something just as nice but without the name brands.

Basically what I am saying is basically is that fashion has become less inspiring, along with music. I feel like I gotta look through the back alleys to find something that really makes me say, "WWWOOOWWW thats crazy!" Other than that my usual expression is.."ehh thats cute". But who would want to wear or listen to anything that is just "ehh cute"? Maybe its just me and my own opinion.

But I am really going to try to bring you something new, something different, a twist, something with a breath of fresh air come summer '10. As for now I will try my best to report something that is amusing or can contain you in the meantime.

So the other night I'm talking to my boy Bryan, and he's telling me about this new artist coming out called June. Being the person I am, all I am hearing is BLAH BLAH BLAH because as you all know,I DON'T DO RAP, or at least not these days, but this one actually caught me. The Bronx native is definitely making a name for himself. Here's a lil bio.

Born and raised in the home of hip hop aka The South Bronx. June was 9 years old when he discovered his talent after sneaking out to Bronx hot spot Panache and spitting an on the spot freestyle while his brother DJed. Since that fateful night June has been building his sound and style from the street battles on the corner to some of New York City's greatest venues. June has collaborated and written for many artists including multi-platinum producer Ron Browz and platinum DJ Webstar. Still representing Webside BX to the fullest, June is currently writing and recording his upcoming "F.A.M.E." series of EP releases to bring his genre bending sounds to new audiences.
